Based on our popular effect, Hippity-Hop
Rabbits, this re-themed version offers amply
opportunity for audience involvement.
Onstage are seen two wooden tube covers,
resting on wooden bases. The bases each
measure 20" x 13" x 3". The tubes measure
24" x 15" x 3 1/2". The tubes are clearly
marked (1) and (2) and are lacquer finished
with a bamboo design. When cover (1) is
lifted it reveals the cutout figure of a ferocious lion! When cover (2) is lifted it is seen
to contain a dangerous and deadly coiled
cobra snake! The tubes are replaced and the
castered bases are moved around (and obviously turned around at the same time).
When the covers are lifted, the two animals have changed places! This sequence is repeated with calls from the audience reminding the performer that all he is doing is turning the units around, etc. When the covers are removed for the last time, once again showing the transfer of the animals, the magician asks his audience which animal they think is the most dangerous animal in the world - the one most feared by man and other beasts. No matter what they say, the cutout figures are turned around to reveal - the most dangerous animal in the world - the skunk! A large cutout figure of a skunk now occupies the entire reverse side of each animal figure. A complete and stunning finale. A super,
